Dr. Jeffrey McCurdy received his PhD in Immunology from Dalhousie University and his MD from the University of Ottawa. He completed his Gastroenterology training at Dalhousie University, and an advanced fellowship in IBD at Mayo Clinic, Rochester.

He is co-chair of IBD update (ibdupdate.ca) and co-editor of the journal IBD Today

His research interests focus on identifying predictors of disease related outcomes in IBD, including perianal Crohn’s disease, infectious exacerbations of IBD and venous thromboembolism.
